The Succeed Scholarship is a true blessing to my son Cal. He is a 16 year old young man who has been in two public school districts for his entire school life. Before coming to school at Easterseals Academy at Riverdale, he was always in a self contained classroom with mostly discipline problems. We would ABSOLUTELY LOVE “the right to a free, high-quality public school education.” But here in the Delta (Brinkley), that was never offered to us. I drive an hour and fifteen minutes every morning to take him to the Academy where I know without a doubt that he’s getting a high-quality education and he’s SAFE. Please Gov. Hutchinson, don’t defund the Succeed Scholarship.
