Student Focused Teacher Led Conference Oct. 3 in Little Rock
The Reform Alliance, a nonprofit organization focused on education in Arkansas, will hold its eighth annual Student Focused Teacher Led Conference on Oct. 3 at the Chenal Event Venue, 21 Rahling Circle, in Little Rock. The conference includes a welcome reception in the evening on Oct. 2.
Conference pre-registration is open now. Those interested can reserve a spot individually or for a group by filling out this form. Payment is not due until registration is confirmed as the event draws closer. The cost is $40 per person prior to Monday, Sept. 1, and $50 after.
The conference will feature a variety of educational leaders presenting general and breakout sessions on topics of interest not just to teachers or administrators, but educators of all types and from any type of school environment – public, private or nontraditional.
“We’ve long been pleased to be joined not just by leaders in the classroom or at the building or district level, but by counselors, social workers, program administrators and other educators in any number of different roles,” said Emmy Henley, managing director of The Reform Alliance. “The goal of the conference is to provide a variety of sessions that will appeal across the board.”
Attendance includes credit for required professional development hours for educators.
The pre-registration form also includes an opportunity for sponsorships and an opportunity for vendors to request table space. Hear from last year’s conference attendees by watching this short video.
