Consider the Effects

Microschools offer something truly amazing for children, especially those who struggle in the traditional classroom.

In our family, East of Ordinary Microschool has made a huge difference in my child’s confidence and overall learning experience. Before attending, he was very shy and often kept to himself in social situations and classroom activities. Since joining this microschool, he has slowly started coming out of his shell, participating more with other children, and feeling more comfortable expressing himself. The caring teachers and positive environment have helped him build confidence in a way that has truly amazed our family. While we can’t know for sure, we do not think this could have happened in a regular classroom. The one-room-schoolhouse feel of the microschool was instrumental in creating that positive environment for him.

Academically, East of Ordinary has also helped my child grow so much. The individualized attention and encouraging teaching style have made learning more enjoyable and less overwhelming for him. He is now more excited to learn new things, asks more questions, and shows pride in his accomplishments. Seeing him become more social, confident, and motivated has been one of the best experiences for us as parents, and we are very thankful for the support and dedication the school provides.

We’re so grateful for the Education Freedom Account (EFA) program and the way it can be used for microschooling. These funds are truly making a difference in the lives of the children they serve!
